Vidhata is a Vedic astrology service. It computes birth charts, dashas,
panchang and muhurta from Swiss Ephemeris and explains the result in the
reader's own language.

Vidhata was founded by Ranjana Sinha. It is built and operated by SRR
Innovation (OPC) Private Limited in India.

## What makes it different from most astrology sites

- **Answers are free and unmetered.** The category standard in India is
  per-minute billing on a prepaid wallet. Vidhata does not charge per minute
  and does not run a wallet. Ask Acharya answers questions at no cost within a
  daily limit.
- **Ten Indian languages, written natively.** Pages are composed in the
  language, not machine-translated from an English original, and the interface
  is translated alongside the content.
- **Computation is stated, not hidden.** Charts use the Swiss Ephemeris with
  the Lahiri ayanamsa by default. Where a page depends on a specific ayanamsa
  or calculation method, the page says so.
- **No fabricated social proof.** Vidhata publishes no user counts, no
  testimonials it did not receive, and no struck-through prices nobody pays.
