ಅನಂತ ಚತುರ್ದಶಿ: ಅನಂತ ವ್ರತ, ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಂಟುಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಗಣೇಶ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ
ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಚತುರ್ದಶಿಯಂದು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಭಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಸೇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಂಟುಗಳ ಅನಂತ-ಸೂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಷ್ಣುವನ್ನು ಅನಂತ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆ ಅಂತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಇಡೀ ನಗರಗಳು ಗಣೇಶನನ್ನು ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ನೀರಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕಥೆ, ವ್ರತದ ನಿಯಮಗಳು, ಗಂಟುಗಳ ಅರ್ಥ, ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದಿದೆ.
