Vedic numerology

Business name harmony.

Type a business name. We compute its naamank using classical Vedic numerology and tell you whether it harmonises with your mulank. Free.

How this works

Mulank meets naamank.

In classical Vedic numerology, every person carries a mulank, the root number reduced from the day of birth. Every name carries a naamank, the Chaldean reduction of its letters. A business runs best when the name's naamank is friendly to the owner's mulank, because the planets behind those numbers cooperate instead of cancelling each other out.

We compute both numbers, look up the planetary friendship table from the Indian tradition, and return one of three verdicts: Strong, Workable, or Friction. The reading explains why.

What is naamank.

Naamank is the numeric value of a name. Each letter A through Z carries a number from 1 to 8 (Chaldean tradition skips the number 9 for letters). We add the values, then reduce the sum to a single digit between 1 and 9. That digit is the name's vibration.

A shop named Sundar Tea House does not carry the same vibration as Sundar Tea Stall. Two letters change, the naamank shifts, and the relationship to the owner shifts with it. This is why classical Vedic shopkeepers test names before painting the signboard.

Common questions

About business name numerology.

Does a friendly naamank guarantee my business will succeed?

No. A friendly naamank removes a quiet obstacle, it does not replace product, pricing, or location. Treat it as one input among many, the same way you would treat a good signboard or a clean lease.

What if my partner and I have different mulanks?

Test the name against both. If a single name works for both partners, that is rare and lucky. More often, a name that works for the lead operator is the one to pick.

Do small spelling changes really matter?

In Chaldean numerology, yes. Adding or dropping one letter can shift the naamank from 8 to 9, from challenging to friendly. Run a few spelling variants through the calculator and compare.

Should I include the legal suffix like Pvt Ltd?

Use the name customers will say out loud. The signboard name. The vibration follows the spoken word, not the registrar's record.
