The mantra

ॐ ह्रां ह्रीं ह्रौं सः सूर्याय नमः

oṃ hrāṃ hrīṃ hrauṃ saḥ sūryāya namaḥ

Salutations to Surya, the Sun. The seed syllables hrāṃ-hrīṃ-hrauṃ-saḥ activate the solar current that governs vitality, identity, and the will to act with integrity.

When to chant

Sundays at sunrise, facing east. Also at the start of a Sun Mahadasha or Sun Antardasha, or when you feel your sense of purpose has grown faint.
